Beverly M. Maldonado, CNM

Beverly believes exceptional healthcare begins with listening. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health. She strives to provide evidence-based, compassionate care that is personalized to each individual's goals, values, and stage of life. As a certified nurse-midwife with eight years of experience in women's health, Beverly cares for patients through every stage of life—from adolescents navigating their first periods or exploring birth control, to pregnancy and postpartum care, annual wellness visits, and support through perimenopause and menopause. One of the greatest joys of her profession is building lasting relationships with her patients and caring for them through the many seasons of their lives. Whether a patient is coming in for a first gynecology visit, preparing to welcome a new baby, or navigating the changes of menopause, her goal is to help them feel confident, informed, and supported every step of the way. She is passionate about collaborative, team-based care and helping prepare future women's health providers to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

Beverly enjoys mentoring the next generation of physicians through her role as the Certified Nurse Midwife Residency Liaison for the Alta Bates OB/GYN Residency Program.

Outside of Medicine, Beverly loves spending time with her husband and two children, hiking Bay Area trails, traveling, and discovering new restaurants. Whether exploring a new city or enjoying the outdoors closer to home, she values creating meaningful experiences with her family.
