Carolyn T. Duong, PA‑C

Carolyn Duong, PA-C has a strong interest in neuroscience and a passion for understanding how the brain, body, and environment influence overall health. Her approach to patient care is centered on meeting each patient where they are. She believes that listening closely, building trust, and taking the time to understand a patient’s concerns and goals are essential to providing meaningful, individualized care. Carolyn strives to look beyond a diagnosis or set of symptoms to understand the whole person. This includes learning about a patient’s medical history, lifestyle, social circumstances, and daily experiences, as these factors can play an important role in both health and healing. She values open communication and shared decision-making, working collaboratively with patients to develop care plans that are realistic, understandable, and aligned with their individual needs. Her clinical interests include neuroscience and the connection between neurologic health and overall well-being. Carolyn is committed to continuing to learn and grow as a clinician while providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Above all, she wants her patients to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their care.

Carolyn is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the California Academy of PAs (CAPA).

Outside of work, Carolyn is rarely found at home. She enjoys staying active and spending her free time exploring different hobbies. She loves arts and crafts, playing tennis, running, and biking. She also enjoys caring for plants and finding time to be outdoors. These activities keep her active, creative, and curious, and she enjoys trying new things whenever she can.
