Abeda Farhati, M.D.

Dr. Farhati is a family medicine physician who believes excellent care begins with listening closely and seeing each patient as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. Having lived in several countries, she appreciates the many cultures, perspectives, and circumstances that shape people’s lives and health. These experiences have taught her to approach every patient with curiosity, compassion, and respect. She completed her family medicine residency in California’s Central Valley and chose to stay in the region to care for its communities. During residency, she served as chief resident, a role that deepened her appreciation for communication, collaboration, and supporting others.

Dr. Farhati is committed to caring for the communities of California’s Central Valley and values building meaningful relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds. Her experiences living in different countries have strengthened her appreciation for the unique circumstances that influence health and well-being, helping her connect with patients through compassion, respect, and understanding.

Today, Dr. Farhati cares for patients in urgent care, where she enjoys helping people navigate unexpected health concerns and understand their options and next steps. She strives to make health information clear and practical, involve patients in decisions about their care, and treat everyone with compassion and respect. Whether addressing an immediate concern or discussing prevention and follow-up, her goal is for patients to feel heard, informed, and supported.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Farhati enjoys cooking and traveling. She especially enjoys discovering new places and cuisines, another way she continues to learn from the people and cultures around her.
