Amy E. Gilliam, M.D.

Dr. Amy Gilliam is a board-certified pediatric dermatologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of various skin conditions in children, including pigmented and vascular birthmarks (e.g., hemangiomas), atopic dermatitis/eczema, psoriasis, acne, autoimmune skin disorders, congenital skin lesions, genetic skin conditions, and bacterial and viral infections such as warts and molluscum contagiosum. Dr. Gilliam’s approach to care is rooted in her belief in delivering personalized, compassionate, and academically rigorous medical treatment. In 2008, she transitioned to PAMF to prioritize work-life balance and foster deeper connections with her patients and their families. Dr. Gilliam is dedicated to providing exceptional, “academic-level” care while addressing the emotional challenges families often face when dealing with pediatric skin conditions. She is committed to treating her patients with the same care and consideration she would want for her own family, consistently going above and beyond to ensure their well-being.

Outside of Medicine, personal interests include born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Gilliam has called the Bay Area home for much of her adult life. She resides with her husband, son, and two dogs. Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys exercise, tennis, pickleball, playing the piano, traveling, cooking, and baking. She also treasures spending time with her sister, who lives locally, often enjoying walks with her dogs.
