Healthcare should be a collaborative effort. Every specialty may have something to add in the care of patients on a daily basis whether dealing with chronic disease or the emergency room patient. Preventive medicine and screening are extremely important for finding disease early when it is more treatable and allowing for better patient outcomes, and fostering improved overall health and happiness. Radiology plays a crucial role in collaboration of care and preventive medicine. A radiologist is a medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating disease and injury by utilizing medical imaging. We also act as an expert consultant to referring physicians by aiding him or her in choosing the proper examination, interpreting the resulting medical images, and in correlating medical image findings with other examinations and tests.

Outside of Medicine, I enjoy spending time with my wife and dog. Together we go hiking and biking throughout the North Bay and various vacation destinations. I enjoy snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.
