Antoinette Rose, M.D.

I have lived in many places during my life. I attended college at Harvard on the East Coast and medical school at Stanford on the West Coast. However, when it came time to settle in one place, the Bay Area was clearly the place for me. I have been in Palo Alto since 1984 (and also lived here for part of my childhood) and with the Palo Alto Medical Foundation Medical Group since 1994.

I love being a doctor and believe the most important part of my practice is the relationship I develop with each patient. I've known many of my patients for a decade or more, and often I know their families and communities, as well. This network of lives that I touch, and am touched by, is source of satisfaction to me.

I always try to start from a place of listening. Although that can be a challenge in our busy and noisy world, I've learned many things over the years that help me be attentive and present for my patients at each visit. I feel that I am in partnership with each person in my practice, and we work together towards a solution to health problems and wellness. I wish you all good health and look forward to meeting you.

Dr. Rose is married with two older children. She also enjoys writing, reading, knitting and travel. She is active in her synagogue.
