Bassam I. Alzagatiti, M.D.

Dr. Alzagatiti’s primary aim throughout his many years in practice has been the well‑being and care of his patients and their families. He believes in compassionate care that respects each patient’s unique circumstances to ensure treatment plans meet both their physical and emotional needs. His philosophy of care centers on open communication and collaboration, integrating the patient’s support network to promote the best possible outcomes. His approach combines advanced technology with compassionate, long‑term care management. He also specializes in movement disorders, particularly Parkinson’s disease and Essential Tremor, and provides comprehensive management for conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, migraine, and headache syndromes.

He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Alzagatiti is a board‑certified general neurologist with over 27 years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of neurological conditions. He has specialized training in electrodiagnostic testing, including EMG, Nerve Conduction Studies, and EEG—tools that help identify the root causes of numbness, weakness, and pain in conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, peripheral neuropathy, and radiculopathy.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Alzagatiti believes in practicing the healthy lifestyle he recommends to his patients. His favorite ways to stay active include road cycling and traveling throughout the U.S. with his family. At home, he enjoys tending to his vegetable garden and fruit trees.
