Brent S. Izu, M.D.

Brent Izu, MD believes it is imperative that patients understand as much as possible about their surgical care. He feels that the more patients understand about their care, the better they can make decisions about surgical and medical treatment options along with possible complications, which will ultimately help them arrive at the best possible treatment plan, aligning with their values and priorities. Dr. Izu treats emergency trauma and general surgery pathology.

Dr. Izu is a member of the American College of Surgeons.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Izu enjoys being outside, whether skimboarding along the sand near the ocean or biking through the mountains. He is a sports fanatic and enjoys watching a variety of sports. He is married and has six wonderful children.
