Daniel R. Brennan, M.D., CLC, FAAP

Dr. Daniel Brennan supports the American Academy of Pediatrics' (AAP) and the California Department of Public Health's (CDPH) guidelines and schedules on vaccinations to protect your child's and the community's health.

Dr. Brennan is an award-winning, board-certified pediatrician who has cared for children and families in Santa Barbara since 2001. A Santa Barbara native, Dr. Brennan is committed to evidence-based, family-centered care, preventive medicine, healthy child development and helping parents make informed decisions about their children’s health. He is particularly passionate about improving childhood and adolescent immunization rates through clinical quality improvement, community partnerships and public education.

In 2026, Dr. Brennan was named California’s Immunization Champion by the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), recognizing his leadership in advancing immunization efforts. He founded the Strive for 95 community immunization initiative and has helped lead measurable improvements in pediatric vaccination rates.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Brennan is a proud husband and father of three boys who enjoys giving back to the community where he grew up. A longtime youth sports coach, he has coached more than 60 baseball, soccer and basketball teams. He is also an accomplished USSF and AYSO advanced soccer referee, distance runner, cyclist and community volunteer.
