My approach to medical care is patient-centered and prevention-based. I believe in using medical evidence and careful examination to guide treatment for patients without relying excessively on tests. No test is meaningful without careful consideration of a patient’s needs, nor is it useful if a doctor hasn’t listened to the patient.

In addition, I think that providing health education helps patients become active participants who make informed health care decisions. I believe it is as important to prevent disease as it is to treat it. I strive in my practice to help patients stay healthy with appropriate screening and careful management of diseases before the disease becomes advanced.
