Gerard (Gary) A. Hoff, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Hoff enjoys delivering babies and helping women achieve the birth experience they desire, whether that involves a medication-free childbirth with the support of a doula or early intervention with appropriate pain relief. He personally delivers over 90% of the pregnant patients under his care and frequently comes to the hospital for deliveries at night or on weekends, even when he is not on call. While always prioritizing the health of both mother and baby, he recognizes that there are often multiple options available during pregnancy and delivery. His goal is to ensure that women have the information they need to make informed decisions about their care. He consistently provides guidance and offers his professional opinion on preferred treatment paths, while also respecting each woman's right to make her own healthcare choices.

Dr. Hoff has a strong interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, which constitutes the majority of his surgical practice. Many common gynecologic conditions—such as heavy menstrual bleeding or pelvic pain—can be managed medically or through minimally invasive alternatives to hysterectomy, including operative laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, or endometrial ablation. He is particularly interested in techniques for preemptive analgesia to help reduce post-operative pain.
