Grace M. Cheng, M.D.

I became a doctor for the privilege of sharing the human experience while working earnestly to improve it. On a personal level, experiencing and managing chronic asthma myself as a child then becoming a mother more recently significantly influences how I provide health care to children today. Professionally, my energy and passion is committed to helping people communicate and cope while enduring illness and disease. The most personally rewarding project thus far in my career was publishing magazines of art and writing created by hospitalized children and their siblings, in collaboration with other medical professionals. In principle and in practice, I hope to continue being the type of physician and kind of person who is best prepared professionally and experienced personally to provide the most compassionate and medically appropriate care for children.

Dr. Cheng enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys. They enjoy hiking, playing music and playing games. Dr. Cheng also enjoys figure skating.
