Dr. Irene Chen loves working with her patients and their families and believes that building strong, meaningful relationships is an important part of providing quality care. She finds great fulfillment in earning the trust of children and creating positive healthcare experiences that make visits enjoyable and comfortable for her young patients.

Outside of Medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and Yorkie. Her personal interests include cooking, especially baking, gardening, playing the piano, attending spin classes, and practicing tai chi and kung fu.
