He is also actively involved in research focused on advancing equitable, evidence-based care for athletes who are transgender.

Personal interests

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Padua is a former NCAA Division 1 track and field athlete. He loves spending time outdoors with his wife, two children, and dog. He enjoys powerlifting, going on bike rides, playing basketball with his twin sister, cooking, and traveling. Dr. Padua is an avid fan of all Bay Area sports teams.
