Jonathan C. Hu, M.D.

Dr. Hu believes that great care begins with connection. He takes the time to listen to each patient's story, goals, and concerns and is committed to providing care rooted in empathy, clinical excellence, and shared decision-making. Whether treating prostate cancer, complex urinary conditions, or men's health concerns, he strives to care for the whole person while delivering advanced, evidence-based treatment in an approachable and supportive environment. His personal experiences caring for family members with cancer further deepened his commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Raised in Cupertino, Dr. Jonathan C. Hu attended UC San Diego before earning his medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and completing his urology residency at UC Davis Health. Prior to medical school, he worked in biotechnology on genomic sequencing technologies and volunteered aboard the USNS Mercy in Cambodia and Vietnam, an experience that strengthened his commitment to caring for underserved communities. Today, he leads Silicon Valley Urologist and specializes in prostate cancer, men's health, and advanced kidney stone management.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Hu enjoys surfing with his wife, walking their two dogs, exploring the California coast, biking, and discovering new restaurants and local food experiences.
