Katrina R. Koslov, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Katrina Koslov believes that the foundation of excellent health care is a strong relationship between patient and physician. She takes the time to get to know her patients and strives to create an environment where they feel heard, respected, and comfortable discussing what matters most to them. Her goal is to partner with patients in supporting both their physical and emotional well-being. She values building long-term relationships and helping patients navigate everyday health concerns and complex medical decisions by providing clear information, compassionate care, and practical guidance.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and exploring cuisines from around the world, hiking, running, indoor cycling, and reading for pleasure.

Dr. Koslov earned her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and completed her Family Medicine residency training at John Muir Health in the East Bay. Before pursuing a career in medicine, she studied social psychology at Harvard University, where she focused on the relationship between stress, behavior, and health.

She and her husband are raising two children and are proud to call the East Bay home. Her background in both medicine and psychology informs her whole-person approach to care, recognizing the important connections between physical health, emotional well-being, and the many factors that influence long-term health. She has a particular interest in preventive medicine, women's health, weight management, and the integration of physical and mental health care.
