Philosophy of care

Dr. Kandel believes in patient education, preventative medicine, and providing compassionate, quality, and supportive care for all of her patients. She encourages patients and parents to be active participants in their medical decision-making, working together as a team, and believes that honest and clear communication is the best way to achieve optimal health. Her goal is to address all questions and concerns while making each visit fun and enjoyable.

I support the American Academy of Pediatrics' (AAP) and the California Dept of Public Health's (CDPH) guidelines and schedules on vaccinations to protect your child's and the community's health.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Kandel enjoys international travel, outdoor activities, learning guitar, reading.
