Approach to care

My mom was diagnosed with lupus and rheumatoid arthritis as a teenager, so I grew up with a deep understanding of the physical and emotional toll that systemic rheumatic disease can take on both the patient and their loved ones. Growing up in rural Arkansas, I watched my mom struggle to achieve good health, and this motivated me to pursue a career in medicine and Rheumatology. My goal as your doctor is to help you understand your autoimmune disease and to develop a specialized treatment plan that helps you to stay healthy and active.
