Manuel Armas-Phan, M.D.

Dr. Manuel Armas-Phan’s philosophy of care is grounded in empathy, open communication, and respect for patient autonomy. He believes that every patient deserves to be heard, understood, and empowered to make decisions about their own health. Shared decision-making is at the heart of his practice, as he sees his role not only as a clinician but also as a partner and advocate, ensuring patients have the knowledge and support to navigate complex choices with confidence. Growing up in a low-income immigrant household and being the first in his family to pursue medicine, he is deeply attuned to the inequities that shape access to care. This background drives him to actively address disparities, striving to deliver high-quality, equitable care for all patients, regardless of background or circumstance.

He is a member of the American Urological Association.

Outside of Medicine, he enjoys running, playing sports such as basketball and soccer, and spending time with his family.
