Patrick S. Carpenter, M.D., FACS

The way we look, talk, smell, hear, taste, and swallow are critical aspects of being human.  My goal is to provide excellent oncologic surgical care that maximizes reconstruction and preservation of the qualities and functions that define us.  Receiving a diagnosis of head and neck cancer can be daunting.  Each patient and situation is unique and my goal is to act as a compassionate guide while building a multidisciplinary, comprehensive, and personalized treatment plan.

In his free time, Dr. Carpenter exercises his high-energy dog, takes yoga classes, or finds an excuse to go for a ride to get some ‘wind therapy’ on his motorcycle. He's a previous CrossFit athlete, an avid snowboarder, back country camper, and general enjoyer of the outdoors.
