Paul J Kim, M.D.

Family medicine provides Dr. Paul Kim with the unique opportunity to care for the entire family, from infancy through adulthood. As a father of three children, he understands the unique challenges and joys of caring for young ones. He enjoys watching his pediatric patients grow up and working closely with their parents to address their children’s specific health needs. He also values the meaningful relationships he has built with his adult patients.

Dr. Kim's mission is to provide families with compassionate and comprehensive care. He places great importance on listening carefully to patients’ concerns and clearly communicating the options that best address their health needs. He recognizes that health is often influenced not only by physical conditions, but also by psychological, social, and spiritual factors. He strives to deliver the highest quality care by addressing each patient’s unique concerns, focusing on prevention, and partnering with them to optimize their overall health and well-being.

He has had the privilege of working in private practice in California’s Central Valley for many years. Additionally, he has worked internationally with underserved populations in Nigeria, Vietnam, Cambodia, and most recently, China. Through these experiences, he has developed a deep appreciation for the diverse health challenges people face, often shaped by culture and worldview. Despite these differences, he recognizes a shared desire for quality care among all patients. He continues to be inspired by the resilience, perseverance, and grace of those he serves, and he hopes to celebrate their successes while offering encouragement during life’s more difficult moments.

Dr. Kim is married and has three children. He enjoys traveling, tennis, playing guitar and singing.
