Rachel S. Rigo, M.D.

Dr. Rigo strives to treat every patient the way she would treat a beloved family member. She believes in caring for the whole person and takes the time to understand each patient's individual priorities, goals, and concerns. Her approach emphasizes compassionate, personalized care while supporting patients in making informed decisions about their health.

Dr. Rigo is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS), and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS). She has presented research at national meetings, including ACMS, ASDS, and the Society for Investigative Dermatology, and has delivered expert presentations on safety in dermatologic surgery. Dr. Rigo has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on topics including surgical education, skin cancer treatments, local anesthesia, hair follicle genetics, and Kaposi sarcoma. She also contributed to a leading dermatology textbook chapter on botulinum toxin and a laboratory manual focused on Mohs micrographic surgery.

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Rigo enjoys spending time with her family, especially outdoors and in nature. She was also a varsity track and cross-country athlete at the University of Michigan.
