Rakhi Mehrotra, M.D., FAAP

Caring for children is more than a profession for Dr. Mehrotra; it is her passion. She believes every child deserves thoughtful, evidence-based care delivered with compassion and is committed to building lasting relationships with patients and their families. Her approach centers on listening, understanding concerns, and partnering with parents to make informed decisions about their child's health. Preventive care, nutrition, mental wellness, and healthy development are at the heart of her practice, and she strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where children feel comfortable and parents feel heard. She is honored to support families through every stage of childhood, from newborn care through adolescence.

As a proud East Bay resident and mother of three, Dr. Mehrotra enjoys giving back to the community she calls home. She volunteers at local health fairs and family wellness events, including the BayFC/B You Mom's Clinic, where she provides pediatric care and counseling to children and families in need. She also enjoys participating in community and cultural events that celebrate diversity and strengthen community connections. Outside of her volunteer work, she has a lifelong passion for dance and enjoys performing with a local troupe. She also enjoys traveling with her family and practices yoga and meditation as part of her commitment to holistic wellness, helping her stay balanced, energized, and connected to both her community and her patients.
