Rita Rosicker, M.D.

I grew up in a different cultural environment starting with the Soviet Union, and later the newly independent country of Lithuania. I studied medicine in a few different countries, such as Lithuania, Spain and the United States. I understood that the most important and powerful component is family and strong relationships between people. Medical knowledge, science, technology, following all latest preventive recommendations are essential in my medical practice, but respecting and understanding patients' values, family situations, lifestyle, cultural traditions is vital too. Every patient and family is part of the team, they are given choices and opportunities towards the care, education or support they need. I love family medicine because I can treat all ages, love seeing patients from newborn to adult, and I enjoy conversations with grandmothers. I believe that being nice, attentive to each and every patient, and keeping up with the latest technologies and medical news can keep our families healthy and happy.

Dr. Rosicker enjoys spending time with her husband, four children and mother. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, music, playing accordion to kids, traveling and reading.
