Viswam S. Nair, M.D.

Dr. Viswam Nair believes that the best medicine comes from treating a patient's disease in the context of relevant social, cultural and economic circumstances. He practices both data based and practical based medicine to this end. At Sutter, Dr. Nair sees all patients with lung conditions and has nationally recognized expertise in lung cancer screening, evaluation and diagnosis.

Dr. Nair is a board certified pulmonary and critical care physician. He spent 15 years in academic medicine and leading medical centers in California, Florida and Washington training the next generation of leaders before deciding to come back home to the Bay Area to serve the community that is badly in need of competent lung doctors.
