What I love about primary care internal medicine is the privilege of getting to know my patients over a long time and helping them to live as healthy lives as possible. Preventing illness, maintaining health and quality of life, following evidence-based medicine, and helping educate my patients about their own health are my goals. I believe in cost-effective rationale health care, improving health care delivery systems, and promoting shared decision-making between patient and doctor.
