Approach to care

As with any relationship, I believe the physician-patient relationship is based on partnership and trust. My philosophy of care is to form a partnership with my patients to assist them in living a better and longer life. My half of this partnership is based on a reliance on evidence-based medicine — care supported by research and scholarship, education and support. My patients' half of the partnership is the openness to change and make improvements in their life, as well as motivation to stay healthy.
