I am strongly oriented to communicating fully within each encounter about areas of concern to each individual and being sensitive to their culture and level of medical understanding while adhering to evidence based medical guidelines. Of primary interest to me is assisting people in finding ways to take care of themselves, in every sense of the word, so as to remain or become more present in their families, friendships, recreations and chosen fields of work. Sometimes this may mean facilitating the individual's and their family's acceptance of certain limitations while exploring new avenues of experience. I thoroughly enjoy being part of an integrated team of health professionals who fully support each other in the practice of caring for each person who enters our clinic.
