Philosophy of Care

My practice is grounded in the belief that individuals are experts on their bodies, their needs, and their births. My role as a midwife is to protect individuals and their wishes as they move through the amazing process that is birth. I hold great respect for the partners and families at the bedside and work to integrate them as members of the care team.

Personal Interests

I am a Bay Area native and speak English and Spanish. In my free time you'll find me chasing after three beautiful children at home, on a hike or at the beach. If I had it my way, you would also find me at all times with an enchilada in hand.
