Maggie F. Smith, Psy.D.

Dr. Smith received her master's degree and doctorate in clinical psychology with a neuropsychology specialty from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in clinical neuropsychology at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan and a two year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida. During internship and fellowship, Dr. Smith participated in several research studies that focused on cognitive development of children born preterm.

After her fellowship, Dr. Smith provided comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to children and adolescents in Detroit, Michigan at Henry Ford Health System. Her research focused on language and executive function outcomes in children born preterm. Additionally, she participated on the diagnostic team in the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD) and was invited to give presentations at conferences sponsored by Autism Alliance of Michigan and Metro Parent for Southeast Michigan.

In 2022, Dr. Smith joined the Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics team at PAMF/Sutter Health where she continues to provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to children and adolescents (0-18 years old) to support them within their home, school, and social setting.
