As a healthcare provider, I am an advocate, an educator, and a resource for patients. I strive to treat each person with respect, honor each person’s individuality, and work collaboratively with patients and families. I understand that everyone has different backgrounds and beliefs shaping how they understand and access health care. I aim to incorporate those beliefs with my professional knowledge and training to encourage the best healthcare practices. We can achieve care that best meets your individual needs by working together.

For more than 15 years I have participated in surgical missions to the Philippines with Bay Area Surgical Mission. This nonprofit organization comprised of healthcare professionals travels to the Bicol Region of the Philippines every other year to provide a week of free surgeries to patients who cannot afford care. This opportunity inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare and has continually shown me the importance of compassion and how impactful our gifts of time, talent, and treasure can be to others.

I enjoy food, music, vacations, and any combination of those things! I am incredibly passionate about perfecting french macarons. I enjoy trying new and challenging recipes and incorporating nostalgic flavors such as ube (Filipino purple yam) into desserts. I love traveling and learning about the history of places or seeing places I’ve learned about in books in real life. You’ll catch me at the dog park with my two dogs enjoying the sun and fresh air on my days off.
