Rani Lacsa Marcos, LMFT is an integrative psychotherapist who blends clinical mental health expertise with creative arts therapy to support whole-person healing. They work with adults on a short-term basis with the Institute for Health and Healing, drawing on a range of approaches to help patients deepen self-awareness, strengthen self-esteem, and cultivate healthier relationships with themselves and others.
A warm, affirming, collaborative and culturally responsive clinician, Rani brings extensive experience addressing the clinical, cultural, and expressive needs of diverse patients. They welcome patients with challenges including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, identity-based issues, addiction, grief and loss, trauma recovery, parenting challenges, life transitions and relationship difficulties.
Depending on each patient’s needs, Rani may incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), expressive arts strategies, embodied techniques, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic approaches, solution-focused therapy and trauma-informed care. Care plans may also include referrals to complementary services such as acupuncture, massage therapy, chiropractic care, yoga, movement, and nutritional support to enhance overall well-being.
