About Me

Philosophy of Care

My approach to care is rooted in the belief that true health involves nurturing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I believe healing is most effective when it is personalized, preventative, and grounded in a collaborative partnership between provider and patient. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I strive to understand the broader context of each individual’s life, including their lifestyle, environment, emotional well-being, and genetic influences. By integrating evidence-based medicine with functional and integrative approaches, my goal is to uncover root causes and empower patients to take an active role in their health.

With a background in emergency medicine, I’ve seen the heavy toll chronic illness can take when left unaddressed. That experience deepened my commitment to practicing proactive, compassionate care that supports lasting wellness. As a nurse practitioner, I aim to create a space where patients feel heard, respected, and genuinely supported—where we work together to restore balance, build resilience, and promote sustainable well-being.

Community Activities

My community involvement reflects this same commitment to holistic health. I’ve volunteered at health fairs to provide screenings and share wellness resources with underserved populations. I’ve also participated in public health campaigns that promote preventive care and chronic disease awareness, as well as initiatives aimed at reducing food insecurity by working with local organizations to improve access to nutritious, affordable food.

Personal Interests

Outside of my clinical work, I engage in activities that keep me grounded and aligned with the values I bring to my practice. I enjoy yoga, strength training, hiking, nature walks, and spending time outdoors—whether fishing or practicing archery. I’ve recently taken up gardening and am enjoying the process of learning to grow my own plants. Listening to wellness podcasts, especially those focused on integrative and functional medicine, continues to inspire and inform my practice. On weekends, I love visiting local farmers markets or spending quality time with friends—nurturing the relationships and simple joys that contribute to a balanced and meaningful life.
