Philosophy of Care

Hearing health continues to be under valued, until it begins to lessen. Hearing protection is the most powerful tool available for the maintenance of healthy hearing. Individuals with hearing loss have unique communication needs and preferences. Hearing and understanding speech is a complex process which becomes more challenging while in the presence of noisy surroundings. A communicaton breakdown can evoke a simple chuckle or lead to a serious misunderstanding. Working together with an audiologist; strategies can be developed to maintain or improve communication connections.
