Stefan Meers Estrada, PA-C, centers his philosophy of care on patient education, clear communication, and shared decision-making. He believes patients are best empowered when they truly understand their health, so he prioritizes using patient-friendly, accessible language rather than medical jargon. Stefan takes time to ensure understanding, encourages questions, and creates an environment where patients feel comfortable actively participating in their care. His goal is not only to treat illness, but also to help patients feel informed, confident, and supported in managing their health.

Stefan also believes that effective care is collaborative and must be tailored to each individual. He strives to develop care plans in partnership with his patients, taking into account their values, cultural background, and personal goals. By building trust and respecting each patient’s unique perspective, he aims to deliver care that is both clinically sound and personally meaningful, fostering strong therapeutic relationships and better outcomes.

Stefan’s clinical interests include emergency medicine, urgent care, and primary care, with a strong emphasis on managing both acute and chronic conditions. He is particularly interested in mental health and addiction medicine, recognizing the importance of integrated, patient-centered approaches in these areas. He also values providing inclusive and accessible care to diverse populations, including Spanish-speaking patients and members of the LGBTQ+ community, with a focus on culturally competent and affirming sexual health care.

Outside of work, Stefan enjoys spending quality time with his family and traveling to explore new places and cultures. He loves trying new foods and restaurants and staying active through weight training. He is also drawn to creative and relaxing activities such as going to the beach, watching movies, and attending live theater. Recently, he has started learning how to sew, which has become a fun and rewarding new hobby.
