Sloane R. Blair, N.P.

Sloane's practice rests on the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and that this begins with strong, trust-based partnerships between families and their healthcare providers. Rooted in her public health background, she approaches each encounter not only as an opportunity to address immediate medical concerns, but as a chance to promote health, prevent disease, and empower families through education. She is a passionate advocate for evidence-based preventive care, including timely vaccination, developmental surveillance, and anticipatory guidance, recognizing that these interventions are among the most powerful tools available to protect children and communities alike. She believes that health literacy is a cornerstone of equitable care; by meeting families where they are culturally, linguistically, and emotionally, as well as providing clear, compassionate education, she strives to foster shared decision-making and lasting health-promoting behaviors.

Outside of Medicine, Sloane finds balance and joy in a variety of pursuits that keep her active, curious, and connected to her family. She enjoys hiking, swimming, tending to her kitchen garden, and going to the theatre. On weekends, her time revolves around cheering on her boys from the sidelines of their soccer and baseball games or coming together to rally behind the Cal Bears. When they're not in the stands, they are either seeking out adventure around the Bay Area or traveling to a vibrant new city. She especially loves to get lost on windy roads or cobblestone streets while discovering the local food and culture wherever they go.
