Sutter EAP Provider Network

Sutter Employee Assistance Program (Sutter EAP) is a full service, not-for-profit employee assistance program that began operation in 1982. Sutter EAP provides services to Sutter Health affiliates and 60 outside companies from private businesses to public sector companies. In total Sutter EAP provides services to over 60,000 employees (and their dependents) predominantly in Northern California and Hawaii. Although as our society becomes increasingly mobile, they geographic areas where employees live, continues to expand. Sutter EAP provides intervention, assessment and referrals to Licensed Mental Health Therapist to help with personal problems that may adversely affect employee performance.

Active Network Providers

Sutter EAP providers are credentialed and contracted by our provider relations department. All of our providers must be in network with Sutter EAP and have an active contract to conduct services with Sutter EAP members. It is the provider’s responsibility to ensure Sutter EAP has updated credentials including license and insurance.  The following documents should be sent directly to Sutter EAP.

Sutter EAP values our provider network and appreciates the dedicated work necessary to deliver quality care to Sutter Health EAP. We understand that your time is best spent with patients so we have created an application that consists of only the essentials we need, in order to minimize the time you spend on paperwork.

Minimum Criteria

1. All providers must be licensed for two years minimum with no board actions
2. All providers must carry professional and general liability insurance. Sutter EAP requires a minimum or $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate.
