It’s Time for a Medicare Plan Checkup
Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is the perfect time to review your Medicare plan and prescription drug coverage and see if they’re still the right fit for you. This may be the only opportunity you have each year to change your coverage if you decide to.
How does your existing plan compare against others? Let’s find out.
Some plans:
- Allow you to enjoy all the same benefits provided by Original Medicare.
- Offer additional benefits not covered by Original Medicare, like prescription drug coverage.
- Won’t vary premiums based on pre-existing conditions.
- Don’t vary premiums based on age.
- Still give you access to your Sutter Health doctors.
- Make managing your Medicare a little easier by combining your hospital insurance (Medicare Part A), medical insurance (Medicare Part B), and prescription drug coverage (Medicare Part D) into one plan.
If your plan does that, then you’re doing great!
If it doesn’t, then check out Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plans.
These are Medicare-approved plans offered by private insurance companies as an alternative way to receive your Original Medicare benefits (Medicare Parts A and B) and include prescription drug coverage (Medicare Part D).
If a Medicare Advantage Plan fits your medical, prescription, financial and health needs, then make the switch during Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period.
