It’s time for a Medicare plan checkup
Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is the perfect time to review your current Medicare and prescription drug coverage, costs and benefits to see whether your current plan still fits your needs for the coming year.
During AEP, people with Medicare generally can:
- Switch from a Medicare Advantage plan back to Original Medicare
- Change from one Medicare Advantage plan to another
- Join, switch or drop a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan
- Switch from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage plan
With Original Medicare, you can explore Medicare Part D or a Medicare Supplement Insurance plan (Medigap) for additional coverage options and to help cover some of the costs not covered by Original Medicare.
