Broiled Halibut

Ingredients

  • 1½ pounds of halibut
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • Juice from 1 lemon (about 3 tablespoons)

Instructions

  1. Combine marinade ingredients. Add the fish and marinate at least 1 hour prior to cookingRemove the fish from the marinade and place on a broiler pan. Broil for 4 to 6 minutes on each side, brushing fish with remaining marinade before and after turning. Cooking time will vary depending upon the thickness of the halibut.
  2. The fish is cooked when the flesh is opaque and flakes when tested with a fork. Discard the remaining marinade.
