About me

Philosophy of care

I love taking care of children and their families and am honored to be a part of my patients' lives. I believe that preventive medicine is the cornerstone of pediatric care and I am passionate about two of the most important aspects of preventive care: nutrition and vaccination. Specifically, I strongly endorse a whole-foods, plant-based lifestyle. I believe in a collaborative approach to patient care, working with families in the context of their community to help kids stay healthy and reach their potential.

I support the American Academy of Pediatrics' (AAP) and the California Dept of Public Health's (CDPH) guidelines and schedules on vaccinations to protect your child's and the community's health.

Personal interests

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Busse enjoys biking, hiking, reading, cooking, yoga and spending time with her husband, two young kids and their golden retriever. She regularly travels back to Wisconsin to visit family.
