Dr. Amy (Ying Li) Matecki is a physician leader in integrative medicine, blending Western internal medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine to advance patient‑centered care. She serves as Medical Director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center and is President of the International Center for Integrative Medicine. Board‑certified in Internal Medicine and licensed in acupuncture, Dr. Matecki has over two decades of clinical experience across oncology, hospital medicine, and integrative therapies.
Her research spans acupuncture safety, cancer survivorship, pain management, and non‑invasive biomarkers, with multiple presentations at ASCO, SIO, and international acupuncture forums. Dr. Matecki is also deeply engaged in public service, including leadership roles with the State of California Acupuncture Board and the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association.
Fluent in Mandarin, she is committed to expanding access to integrative, culturally responsive healthcare and advancing evidence‑based complementary medicine.
