Bertrand Tuan

Bertrand Tuan, MD, is a hematologist-oncologist at Sutter’s California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC). He is board certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine.
Dr. Tuan investigates novel therapies for lymphomas and solid tumor cancers. He participates in clinical trials in these areas and has authored publications on solid tumors, leukemias and bleeding disorders. In addition to a full-time practice seeing adult patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, Dr. Tuan lectures on non-malignant hematology, specifically disorders of thrombosis and hemostasis.
Dr. Tuan obtained an MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Boston City Hospital and a clinical and research fellowship in medicine and hematology-oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.
