Chad Rammohan

Dr. Chad Rammohan is a distinguished interventional cardiologist with over two decades of experience in cardiovascular medicine, structural heart interventions, and clinical research. He currently serves as the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Structural Heart Program at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, California, and Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City.
Dr. Rammohan completed his medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and received multiple academic honors. He earned his undergraduate degree in Bioengineering with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Illinois, graduating with high distinction.
His postgraduate training includes a residency in Internal Medicine at UCSF, where he was honored as both Junior and Senior Resident of the Year, followed by fellowships in General and Interventional Cardiology at Northwestern University, where he also served as Chief Cardiology Fellow.
Dr. Rammohan is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Nuclear Cardiology.
A prolific clinical researcher, Dr. Rammohan has served as a site principal investigator in numerous pivotal trials including REALISM, COAPT, CHAMPION, AMULET IDE, TRILUMINATE, and APOLLO. His work has contributed significantly to advancements in transcatheter valve therapies, carotid and peripheral interventions, and left atrial appendage occlusion.
He is a national proctor for structural heart procedures and served on the ACC/NCDR LAAO steering committee. His research has been widely published in leading cardiology journals, and he is a frequent faculty member at major cardiovascular conferences including TCT, CRT, and the Cardiovascular Research Foundation Fellows Course.
Dr. Rammohan is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and an active member of several professional organizations.
