Craig Ruggles

Craig S. Ruggles, MD, conducts research at the Sutter Institute for Medical Research. Board-certified in family medicine, he is a family physician in Elk Grove, CA, and Medical Director for Sutter Walk in Care.

Dr. Ruggles investigates plasma biomarkers for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and new therapeutics for common health concerns such as type 2 diabetes, irritable bowel disease, and cardiovascular diseases.

He completed an MD at the Medical College of Pennsylvania (now known as Drexel school of Medicine), and residency training in family medicine through the Sutter Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of California, Davis.
