Erica A. Byrd

Dr. Erica Byrd is a neurologist and movement disorders specialist in Roseville, CA, and a neuroscience researcher at the Sutter Institute for Medical Research. She is board certified in neurology.
Dr. Byrd studies Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, other movement disorders, deep brain stimulation, botulinum toxin therapy, non-motor symptoms in Parkinson’s disease, and impulse control disorders in Parkinson’s disease. She participates in clinical trials of new therapies for movement disorders.
Dr. Byrd obtained an MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She completed an internship in internal medicine and a neurology residency at the University of Washington, and a fellowship in movement disorders at the University of California, San Francisco.
