Fabio Settecase, MD, MSc, FRCPC, DABR is an interventional neuroradiologist with academic appointments as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia. He practices at UCSF Medical Center, Vancouver General Hospital, California Pacific Medical Center, and Mills‑Peninsula Medical Center.
Dr. Settecase completed his medical degree at Boston University, a Master of Science at the University of Toronto, and radiology and fellowship training at UCSF. He is board‑certified in radiology and neuroradiology in both the United States and Canada.
His clinical expertise includes endovascular treatment of acute ischemic stroke, mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm embolization, flow diversion, and cerebrovascular stenting. His research focuses on stroke imaging, workflow optimization, and neurovascular device innovation. Dr. Settecase has authored more than 40 peer‑reviewed publications and regularly lectures at national and international conferences.
