Gregg C Newman, M.D.

Dr. Gregg C. Newman is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with over two decades of clinical and research experience. He has been practicing at Sansum Clinic in Santa Barbara, California since 1999 and provides care at the Ridley-Tree Cancer Center. Dr. Newman has been actively involved in clinical research since 2000, serving as a clinical trial investigator with national cooperative groups including SWOG and NSABP, and participating on the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Research Committee.
He completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology at Cornell Medical School, with additional training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Newman earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California, Davis.
His work includes published research in hematology and oncology, reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing cancer care and improving patient outcomes.
