Gurpreet Singh Sodhi, MD is a board‑certified cardiologist with advanced training in Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation. He is an attending physician at Sutter Medical Group and Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento and Roseville, where he specializes in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, heart transplantation, and general cardiology. Dr. Sodhi completed his medical degree, internal medicine residency, and cardiology fellowship at The George Washington University, serving as Chief Cardiology Fellow, and pursued advanced heart failure and transplant fellowship training at Cedars‑Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Sodhi is also an Assistant Clinical Professor and Cardiovascular Course Director at California Northstate University College of Medicine, with a strong commitment to medical education. He is also on the Core Faculty for the Sutter Roseville Cardiology Fellowship. His research interests include heart failure therapeutics, transplant cardiology, and cardiovascular outcomes, and he serves as an investigator on multiple national clinical trials. He is one of Sutter's champions to develop an Amyloid Center of Excellence. He is an active member of leading cardiovascular professional societies and a frequent presenter at national scientific meetings.
