H Irene Wu, M.D.

Dr. Wu is a board-certified medical oncologist with over two decades of experience in clinical practice. Since October 2002, she has been practicing at Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group in Mountain View, California, as part of the Sutter Bay Area Medical Foundation, where she provides comprehensive oncology care within a large multi-specialty physician group.
Dr. Wu completed her medical oncology fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine and her internal medicine residency at Stanford Hospital and Clinics. She earned her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Stanford University.
She is board-certified in both medical oncology and internal medicine and has been an active member of the medical staff at El Camino Hospital since 2002. Dr. Wu has held leadership roles within her organization, including serving as Hematology-Oncology department site leader, and has contributed to multiple committees focused on peer review, physician well-being, and clinical systems.
